​Our Founder

Nicole Sadighpour Nourian started her tutoring and mentoring career as an undergraduate at UCLA, helping fellow classmates in their college classes. Within a few months, her effective tutoring skills earned her a client base that spanned the university community. Nicole moved on to teach elementary and middle school while homeschooling several high school students. She quickly noticed that one-on-one teaching environments allowed students to grasp content and gain confidence. Impassioned by the effects of high-quality tutoring, she committed to expanding her impact through Brighter Minds Tutoring. Nicole began hiring specialists in the sciences and humanities as well as experts on the SAT and ACT exams. Shortly thereafter, she started a College Counseling Department. Twelve years later, Nicole’s tutoring company has served thousands of students across the Greater Los Angeles Area.
